Our volunteers help with manageable household tasks that can become difficult with age or limited mobility. Availability varies by location and volunteer capacity.

Dishes, sweeping, vacuuming, and everyday tidying.
Everyday tasks
Trash bins, lightbulbs, organizing, and other small jobs.

Why we’re here
Inspired by veterans in our own families.
Dallas Vet Support began with a small group of North Dallas parents, relatives, and community friends who have veterans in their families. Through those relationships, they have met many veterans and seen how often older veterans need help with ordinary work around the house—especially tasks they may no longer be able to do safely themselves.

The idea is simple: make that help easier to ask for and easier for caring neighbors to offer.
